6 including 4 children die of cold in Meherpur, Habiganj
 
At least six people died of cold and cold related diseases in Meherpur and Habiganj.

The people of the two districts have been suffering from severe cold for the last few days. Many children in the area have fallen victims to different cold related diseases.

Five people including three children died of Pneumonia and cold related diseases at the Meherpur Sadar Hospital Saturday night.

The deceased were identified as Rana (5-days), Lalbanu (5-days), Arina (21-days), Bilkis (21), and Md Moniruzzaman (45).

A child died of Pneumonia at the Adhunik Hospital in Habiganj.

Earlier, at least 20 people died of cold in the northern part of the country in the last few days as it is under the grip of biting cold.
